Volunteering
In the 1980s, First Congregational recognized the need for emergency food assistance in our community. This mission continued for over twenty years, with support from others in the community. In 2005, the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry became a separate non-profit organization.
Our church volunteers to assist the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry distribute food on the 4th Wednesday night of each month from 3:45 – 6:00 PM.
We need 8-10 volunteers each time. It’s a fun and rewarding way to spend one evening a month.
