Lenten/Easter Season

It’s time to plan for our Lenten/Easter season. Pastor Dale Bishop will be leading worship with us on Sundays through Lent and Easter as well as our special services during this time. Here is the schedule for the Lenten season:
Ash Wednesday – Wednesday, March 5 at 12:30 p.m. in our sanctuary with Immanuel Lutheran Church. Pastor Dale will have a meditation and the imposition of ashes will be part of the service, as well as a combined choir.

Lenten worship services each Sunday led by Pastor Dale with the following exception:
Tim and Suzie Grades, our pastoral candidates, will lead worship on March 23 followed by a vote by the congregation to formally accept them into ministry among us.

Palm Sunday Worship – April 13 with palms in celebration of the day.

Maundy Thursday Worship – Thursday, April 17
A soup and bread supper will be served in Fellowship Hall at 5:00 p.m. followed by a tenebrae worship service with communion in the sanctuary at 6:00 p.m.

Good Friday Worship – Friday, April 18 at the Methodist Church at 7:00 p.m. Pastor Dale will take part in the service and a combined choir will offer music.

Easter Sunday Worship – April 20 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a brunch in Fellowship Hall. All are invited to attend!
