United Women in Faith

I remember Darlene and Sue inviting women from our congregation to join them in a United Women in Faith group at the Rhinelander United Methodist Church this past spring. It was something I was very interested in particularly for the ecumenical aspect of programs in Rhinelander.
I am currently one for thirteen women who now belong to this wonderful group united in faith. Darlene, Sue and myself represent our congregation. This group was originally the United Methodist Women in Faith group but the focus now is its inclusivity of all women of any faith.
I’d like to take this opportunity to invite you to experience a meeting. We meet the first Thursday of the month at 11:00 a.m. except for February and March when many members are away from the Northwoods. The program consists of a business meeting, program and lunch. Right now, the meetings are held at the UMC, however in the future we might want to have some meetings at our church.
What I’ve discovered is a very warm and inviting community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as a whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
I can’t wait for our group to grow and to have women across multi-faiths join us! This I perceive will be an exciting faith group advocating and supporting local and future endeavours to women and children in our community.
Please consider joining us, by visiting at a future meeting in the New Year! If you are interested, please let me know. You can email me at carlawarla@gmail.com.

Blessings,
